NVIDIA today announced the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 TI, which is the entry level offerings in the company’s 50-series graphics.
Starting with more powerful RTX 5060 TI, this model has a GB206 dye with 4608 cuda core. It has 2.57GHz boost clock and 2.41GHz base clock. Like the 4060 TI, you get an option of 16GB and an abysmal 8GB video memory option, this time in GDDR7 and 28GBPS with 128-bit buses. The card has 180W power limit for both memory options.
Then the RTX is 5060, which also has the same GB206 dye, but with 3840 cuda core. It has a 2.5GHz boost clock and 2.28GHz base clock. Unlike 5060 TI, 5060 only offers single 8GB GDDR7 options, making it more disappointing in 2025. It consumes 145W power, which is more than 115W a decent bit consumed by 4060, so it may not be suitable for ultra-melodious form-fector PCs as 4060.
Both cards run on new Blackwell architecture and are manufactured on the TSMC 4N process. They both provide the facility of 5th generation tensor core and 4th generation RT core. Both cards support the latest DLSS 4 feature set, including 4X frame generation, as well as upcoming reflex 2 features. They both use PCIE 5.0 interfaces, but can be limited to 8X lanes. Finally, both support the new Nvenc encoder and NVDEC decoder, which brings 4: 2: 2 video encoding and decoding support.
There are some performance numbers for both cards in NVidia, but as usual they use the image rebuilding and frame generations to promote numbers. However, compared to apples, both 5060 TI and 5060 are about 20–25% faster than 4060 TIs and are 4060 4060 in the game, 40-series cards that are more decent bit than their predecessors.
In terms of pricing, RTX 5060 TI starts at $ 429 for 16GB models and $ 379 for 8GB models, and will be available from 16 April. The RTX 5060 will start from $ 299 and some time will be available in May. These are pre-tariff values ​​in the US and are subject to change. There are no founding versions models, but they will all be available from major OEMs.
The company also announced the RTX 5060 laptop GPU, which will be available from the leading manufacturers starting from May.
