Sonakshi Sinha holds dad Shatrughan close to her in first wedding pics with Zaheer Iqbal
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have finally tied the knot! The couple has shared pictures from their private wedding that took place on June 23.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married in a private ceremony in Mumbai on Sunday, June 23. The wedding was attended by their close family and friends. After the event, Sonakshi shared pictures from the private ceremony.
Sonakshi and Zaheer, who have been dating for the past seven years, got married under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi’s house in Mumbai. They completed the civil marriage formalities and are now officially husband and wife.

The ‘Heeramandi’ actor can be seen wearing an ivory coloured saree while Zaheer opted for an all-white outfit.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on. Today, that love has guided us through all the challenges and victories leading us to this moment where, with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods, we are now husband and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all the beautiful things with each other, from now till forever.”
After this, the newlyweds headed to Bastian in Mumbai for their grand wedding reception. Several Bollywood celebrities, close friends and family members are expected to attend the reception.
According to DJ Ganesh, the couple has invited around 1000 guests to their wedding ceremony. “Sonakshi has thrown a private reception at Bastian in Dadar. I think 1,000 people have been invited. So, I think it will be a complete Bollywood mix-off till 4 am,” DJ Ganesh told Dubai Brew.
