Announcing the “mutual tariff” of his country on those who tariffs the United States, Donald Trump recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi about his brief comment about trade relations with India, when the two leaders recently met in Washington.
“You are not treating us properly,” he remembered PM Modi saying that he talked about India’s high import duties. The US has now decided to cross India’s “52 percent” tariffs by charging Indian goods – 26 percent when they are imported to the United States.
Describing the tariff as “very difficult” by New Delhi, President Trump said, “His Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has just left … he is a great friend of mine, but I told him that ‘you are a friend of mine, but you are not treating us right.
However, he did not specify how these would be installed, or which industries would be affected. The White House later stated that the country-specific tariffs would be up and above the “baseline tariff” of 10 percent which the US has decided to charge all the goods imported in the United States.
“Due to a national emergency, which stems from security concerns due to frequent trade deficit, the US will begin on 5 April at 12:01 pm (IST at 9:30 pm), which will begin with a high country-specific tariff 12:01 am local time (9:30 am IST).
Calling himself “kind”, President Trump said, “America will charge other countries that they charge us.” This, he said, “fair”.
Announcing his mutual tariff from the White House Rose Garden, the attendees made him happy, “President Trump said,” For a very long time, other countries have looted and looted us by taking advantage of our policies. But now. But not now. April 2. On April 2 will be known as Mukti Day forever. “He will be known.”
He said, “By doing this we will recover our jobs, we will recover our industry, we will recover our small and medium scale businesses … and we will make America rich again. Jobs will now come around in America,” he said.
Some countries are included in some of the “concessional mutual tariffs” – China (34 percent), European Union (20 percent), Vietnam (46 percent), Taiwan (46 percent), Japan (24 percent) (24 percent), India (26 percent), India (26 percent), United Kingdom (10 percent), 47 percent (37 percent), Packpath (29 percent).
