Apple Intelligence has been running late since day 1. In WWDC 2024, held in June, Apple introduced Apple Intelligent and demonstrated several AI-operated features, which were to be integrated with the iPhone 16 series and other new Apple devices. This carried it forward at an unknown time. However, the company did not curb advertisements for long -term. Feeling fraud, a new case has been filed against the company to delay and misrepresent the Apple Intelligence facilities.

Filed in the US district court in San Jose on Wednesday, the lawsuit seeks class-corrosion status and compensation for customers who advertised iPhones and other equipment as supporting Apple Intelligence. The plaintiff argued that these devices owners have not received the promised features.

It is alleged in the trial that Apple misleads consumers by demonstrating SIRI features in advertisements which were not really available. According to the complaint, Apple deliberately hoped that these advanced features would be accessible from the launch of the iPhone, which would create immense enthusiasm and motivate millions to unnecessarily upgrade.

Although Apple later confirmed that SIRI facilities would be delayed by next year, the company had already run advertisements for several months. This eventually removed them, but only after knowing that they would not be ready on time after knowing that they will not be ready. Apple now claims that it deliberately advertises non-existent functionality.

“Apple’s advertisement (farming) is a clear and appropriate consumer hope that these transformative features will be available on the release of the iPhone,” reads the complaint filed by lawyers for the plaintiff. “This is unlike the claims of the defendant of advanced AI capabilities, the products offered a very limited or fully absent version of Apple Intelligence, which confuses consumers about its real utility and performance,” it says.

New leadership for AI-Interactive Siri

Before the lawsuit could see the day of light, it was reported that CEO Tim Cook is unhappy with the progress of the Siri operated by Apple Intelligence. According to a Bloomberg report, Apple CEO Tim Cook has lost confidence in AI’s chief John Giandra’s ability to execute on product development. ” As a result, Mike Rockwell, the current vice -president of the Vision Products Group and the mastermind behind the Apple Vision Pro, is now leading the Siri team.
