According to analysts, the foldable iPhone can come up with a heavy price, making it the most expensive iPhone ever. Recently, in an investor note, Barclay analyst Tim Long suggested that Apple’s foldable iPhone could start at about $ 2,300 (about Rs 1,98,000) in the US. To keep it in perspective, it will make it almost double the iphone 16 Pro Max, starting at $ 1,199 (about Rs 1,03,000). For many people, this value point can be a significant barrier, and analysts believe that it can limit the amount of sales of the device.
Long’s prediction comes after a visit to Asia, where his team met with hardware manufacturers. He said that the talk of a foldable iPhone between the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027 is increasing within the supply chain.
