The film Nik is now ready to start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from March 21, 2025. The film marks the third direction after Pa Pandi and Ryan.

The film is an upcoming romantic comedy directed by Neek Dhanush. It tells the story of the Lord, who is a young man in its 20s, who is still struggling to move beyond a breakup that happened a year ago.
As he navigates life, the parents of the Lord pressurized a systematic marriage with his childhood friend, Preity, before he was completely cured with his previous relationship.
After listening to her plight, Preeti suggested that she is facing her past to attend her ex -girlfriend’s wedding. The rest of the film follows Prabhu as he faces his feelings and works towards personal development.

Nik, the nephew of Dhanush, Pavish Narayan in the lead role, a wearing actors as well as Matthew Thomas, Ankha Surendran, Priya Prakash Warrier, R. Sarathkumar, Venkatesh Menon and many more leading roles are included.
The film is directed by Dhanush, which is written by the filmmaker himself and was bancolled under his own production house. The music composition of the film was handled by Lyon Brito and Prasanna GK with cinematography and editing by GV Prakash Kumar respectively.
The film was initially developed in 2016, in which Dhanush was expected to play the lead role under the direction of Soundaria Rajinikanth. However, the project never became physical, leading Dhanush himself to play the role of direction.
