The film Vidamuerchi starring Ajit Kumar and Trisha Krishnan was originally released in theaters on 6 February 2025. As the film started on OTT, Neetzens has given its opinion about the film.
Taking X (East Twitter), a user said, “#Vidaamuyarchi is a well -made action thriller. Although it started slow, the film increased its pace in the second half. The last 30 minutes were very good. Ajit was very good in the film.
Another user said, “One-Time Watchnell Movie. I saw it for AK’s performance. The director made the film more attractive through crisp writing. I liked how AK played his valor in this film.”
However, another user on the Internet appreciated the entireity of the film, but was dissatisfied with the climax. The user said, “#Vidaamuyarchi started well, but the climax was not so good. It could live on the ground until the end or was built in a full commercial recreational.”

Talking about the film, Vidamuirchi is a conversion of the Hollywood film Breakdown starring Kurt Russell. The film tells the story of Arjun and his wife, Kayal, who is going through a thick patch at their wedding and going for divorce.
On a car ride, the couple’s vehicle breaks down, and offers to help Kayal to a nearby space to find a truck aid. However, Arjun soon learns that his wife has been abducted, and he does not know where he can be taken. Despite facing a difficult phase in his wedding, Arjun should venture to save his wife, facing many challenges on the way.
The rest of the film focuses on whether Arjun manages to save his wife and which challenges in this process wait for them.
Moving forward, Ajit Kumar is the next set to appear in the film Good Bad Bad Ugly, directed by Adik Ravichandran. The film slate for release on April 10, 2025 has been postponed to be an action comedy, in which Trisha Krishnan has once again played the role of a woman lead after Vidamuirchi.
