Jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films, Superboy of Melagaon opened with just Rs 50 lakh on his debut day. The film saw a nominal growth ahead and collected 70 lakh rupees on 2 days. According to estimates, the slices-off-life inspirational drama is recording a flat day today. It is likely to add another 75 lakh rupees to the tally, wraps the initial weekend under only Rs 2 crore.
Given the trends, the Adarsh Gaurav starrer is going to the box office for a sorry luck. However, someone should know that the film is financially safe as it is supported by Amazon Studio. The dramatic release is only to achieve its marketing and traction when it actually comes on Amazon Prime Video for Streaming. Although the manufacturers will not have to face any loss, the decision of the box office of the Superboy of Melagaon will not be favorable.
