A new OTT series called Zidi Girles was officially declared in February 2025. It is at the beginning of the acting of Atia Tara Nayak, daughter of Raj Nayak. The trailer of the show gave a glimpse in the story. It revolves around five girls who are in their first year at Matida House, an all-group college in Delhi. The series shows a fight for their friendship, ideologies and their freedom.
Along with Atia Tara Nayak, the artists of stubborn girls include Revathi, Nandita Das, Simran, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anupriya Caroli, Deya Damini, Umang Bhadna and Zina Ali. The show is directed by Shonali Bose, Neha Veena Sharma and Vasant Nath.
Zidi girls, released on Amazon Prime Video on 27 February 2025, have been slated.
