Aaron Pierre will bring DC’s prestigious character John Stewart, aka Green Lantern on the big screen in the franchise’s upcoming film Lantern. The actor was present in the 2025 ABFF honor and clearly talked about playing superheroes during his interview with Buzz.

The rebel ridge actor admitted that he was a “lock in and focus” on the project, which began to film in Los Angeles earlier this month. Pierre, cast as a title hero in October 2024, revealed that the project and character are dear to her heart.

In addition, he expressed his desire to make a large amount of effort to do justice with such a reputed character in the superhero franchise. Pierre said, “I am going to do everything in my power so that he can resonance with people to bring it to life and celebrate that character.”
