Dho Dham review: Yami Gautam Dhar and Pratik Gandhi shine

plot

Dham Dham, directed by Rishab Seth, is a bizarre comedy-thriller concentrated around Koyal (Yami Gautam Dhar) and Veer (Pratik Gandhi), who enter an arranged marriage. Both characters initially present themselves as dutiful, family-oriented persons, who prefer the expectations of their families. However, the story takes a sharp turn on their wedding night when an armed stranger is a bang at his suite door, demanding “Charlie”. There is neither a clue about this mysterious “Charlie” nor a clue of Veer. What ensues is a chaotic night that is filled with dodging goons and police, as the secrets uproot and their true personality emerges.

Will they be able to catch “Charlie” or will the police or goons catch them or kill them? Also, what is really “Charlie”? See Dham Dham to find out.

What works for Dhu Dham

The strength of Dham Dham lies in its juicy treatment, which keeps the audience busy despite a relatively thin story. Rishab Seth’s direction shines in the film’s visual appeal, with excellent transition and well-choreographed chase sequences that add a dynamic energy to Going-on. Razor-Sharp editing deserves special mention, ensuring that the film remains crisp and avoids feeling.

The chemistry between Yami Gautam Dhar and Pratik Gandhi is one of the main attractions of the film. Their playful feast and mutual support make them rootable for a couple. The film’s ability to give an exciting experience yet published, combined with its high production values, makes it a delightful popcorn recreater who does not demand overthinking.

What doesn’t work for not work

Despite its entertainment value, Dham Dham stumbles on some basic issues. Plot, during confusing, lacks depth and originality. A magnificent inconsistency is the character depiction of the cuckoo: a careless, fun-making woman agrees to a systematic marriage that is incredible and somewhat forced, she is given otherwise bold personality. Additionally, the film does not offer too much substance beyond its surface-tier adventure, making it a one-time watch rather than a thought-cinematic experience.

For audiences looking for more complex or meaningful story, lack of narrative can be a lethargy. Nevertheless, these flaws are completely different from the film’s entertainment ability.
