Delhi woman’s food recommendations go viral in Bengaluru – view thread

A Delhi woman’s long list of recommendations for life in Bengaluru has gone viral on X and has received a lot of attention. Aditi Tibrewal posted on From resident POV).” Where to stay, eat, enjoy a night out and much more. She shares many comments and other tips about living in the city. Two of his posts specifically relate to food. In one of them, she lists some must-try restaurants and eateries for special dishes/cuisines.

She calls Asha Tiffins “everyone’s favourite” for its classic South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, filter coffee etc. She says Rameshwaram Café is “obviously popular and great.” However, one should also not forget Amudham for its Ghee Podi Idli and Ghee Podi Masala Dosa. She recommends Nagarjuna for Andhra-style thali and unlimited food. For North Indian cuisine, she suggests Punjabi Kitchen, as well as Viennese Kitchen, Thar and Rajdhani (for Rajasthani food). For Maharashtrian cuisine, she mentions Gavran Misal and Purnabrahma.

In HSR, she recommends Namaste and Aligarh House for affordable food. She points out that Grameen has “good vegetarian food”. According to her, Kota Kachori and Sangam are the favorite places for Kachori, but she clarifies that people generally have mixed reviews about them. She also mentioned Meghna Biryani and said, “You must have heard about her a lot. Initially, I didn’t get the publicity, but it’s amazing!” For ice cream, she recommends Corner House, Polar Bear, and Milo’s.

The thread also included recommendations specifically for Chole Bhature – a dish that is widely loved in Delhi. X User says that Nataraja in Bengaluru is the best place for this. She mentions Shyam Chole Bhature, but admits that she has not tried it yet. She says Anand’s Old Delhi is “very homely”. She also tells that on Sundays she walks to the Chole Kulcha shop in front of NIFT, but she never remembers its name.
