Announced via Instagram, the donation will establish the LA Fire Relief Fund, which aims to provide assistance to families, churches and community centers most affected by the devastation.

The fund is earmarked to assist those families in the Altadena/Pasadena area , who have lost their homes, and at churches and community centers to meet the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires. While Beyoncé has yet to release a personal statement, her mother Tina Knowles revealed that their Malibu home was destroyed in the tragedy, highlighting the extensive damage caused by the fire.
