Kim Kardashian recently made a simple announcement on social media, donating clothes and other essentials. The businesswoman uploaded some social media stories on Instagram, in which Kim Kardashian mentioned how both she and her clothing brand, SKIMS, are donating clothes to people in need.

“We have donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, which provides vital resources to the heroic first responders who protect our city,” the highly-admired celebrity wrote.

Adding a few more words to her Instagram stories, Kim Kardashian mentioned that her brand, SKIMS, is “making a huge donation of underwear, clothes, and socks to Baby2Baby to help those displaced by the fires.”

For those who don’t know, Baby2Baby is a non-profit organization that aims to provide diapers, clothes, and other necessities to children in need.

Continuing to express herself, Kim Kardashian then said that in this time of need, when the entire community is facing a huge, devastating period, “our hearts go out to all those affected.”

The star then also mentioned that he and his brand are fully committed to helping families and those affected during these challenging times.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian also urged her followers to support non-profit organizations. Asking her fans to donate whatever they can, the celebrity further added that her fans can also volunteer or raise awareness about charity.

Kardashian’s announcement came after she was criticized for being “tone-deaf” while she was promoting her SKIMS winter sale this week.
