Introduction
We’re starting the 2025 Xiaomi review season with the Poco X7, which is shaping up to be a solid mid-range offering.
Before we proceed further, we should point out that the Poco X7 is similar to the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, which is available in China and India. Both phones have a 50MP main camera, while the global Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G has a 200MP camera.

The Poco The phone is water resistant, has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and vegan leather back panel.

The biggest update since the Poco X6 is in performance thanks to the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. It should offer better CPU and GPU performance and the 12GB LPDDR4X RAM will definitely come in handy.
Poco phones have never been about high-end camera experiences and the X7 doesn’t change that. The primary camera now uses a 50MP IMX882 Sony with 2x high-quality zoom, while an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro shooters keep it company. The resolution of the selfie camera has been increased to 20MP.
The battery capacity is the same as before, at 5,110mAh, but the charging speed has strangely been reduced to 45W. At least the charger is part of the retail bundle. Oops, spoiler alert.

The Poco X7 comes in a big black box filled with goodies. There’s also a 45W charger, a USB-AC cable, and even a soft black case.
The Poco X7 also has a thin protective film, which was installed at the factory.
