Varun Dhawan may have been born in a film family. But in the last few years, he earned name on the basis of his talent and hard work. However, there are a handful of people who compare him with actors like Salman Khan and Govinda. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja shared her opinion on the matter and said that the young star has seen Govinda working with his father David Dhawan in many films since his childhood. Sunita Ahuja was recently in conversation with Pinkvilla’s Hindi Rush. As she talked about her husband Govinda and her relationship with him, the Bollywood wife also opened up on Varun Dhawan being compared to her husband. Ahuja said that ever since Varun was a child, he has seen Govinda on the sets where he grew up. Even though the Student of the Year newcomer is compared to the Hero No. 1 actor, he said he has his own style.
Sunita further said in the chat, “They talk, compare but I don’t understand why they talk. He too must be feeling bad that Salman compares me with Chi-Chi Bhaiya, but I don’t understand why. (People compare him but I don’t understand why they do so. He would also feel bad if compared to Salman Khan and Chi-Chi Bhaiya.)”
Elaborating further, Govinda’s wife said, “Govinda has 17-18 pictures of the man from childhood, dekh dekh ke… his father (David Dhawan). So at least a little will come naturally. He was flirtatious since childhood. (Someone who has seen Govinda work with his father in 17-18 films. Naturally, there might be a slight resemblance. Varun has been a happy-go-lucky kid since childhood.)”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun is busy shooting for Shashank Khaitan’s Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari with Janhvi Kapoor. The new father has also been roped in to play an important role in the upcoming war film Border 2 alongside Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty.
