Bigg Boss Tamil 8 Highlights: Jeffrey, Anshida out, Ticket to Finale task begins
Jeffrey, one of the show’s youngest contestants, was eliminated on December 28. Anshida was eliminated from the show on 29 December.
Double eviction was once again seen this weekend in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 8. While Jeffrey was evicted on December 28, Anshida was evicted from the show on December 29. Vijay Sethupathi reminded the contestants about the remaining three weeks and announced the ‘Ticket to Finale’ task. After a series of double evictions, 10 contestants are left in the show and one of them will win a direct ticket to the final this weekend.
Saturday’s episode started with some highlights from Friday. Vijay Sethupathi’s Viduthalai 2 Was displayed inside the house of Bigg Boss Tamil 8. He then asked the contestants what they liked about the film.
Vijay Sethupathi asks contestants about family work
Vijay Sethupathi talked about how the contestants turned into children when their families came. They also talked about what they liked about each family visit.
The host then asked the contestants if they had any disagreements about what their family members had shared with them. The housemates then shared their thoughts and how his arrival brought them joy and peace.

Jeffrey is out of the show
After this Vijay Sethupathi announced that the eviction would take place on 28 December. He then announced Jeffrey’s name and called him one of his favorites. The contestants were shocked to learn that one of the strongest contestants was eliminated from the show.

Anshida and Soundarya had tears in their eyes and hugged him. Deepak was shocked and had no words. Jeffrey breaks down and tells Jacqueline that he is not the type of person who befriends someone with ulterior motives. He said he had to tell her today because he was going to leave.
Vijay Sethupathi asks housemates about public voting
Vijay Sethupathi reminded the contestants that there are only three weeks left and they have to bring their A-game. He asked the housemates to choose one person who should not be voted out by the viewers. Most of the contestants chose Raanv saying that he spoils everyone’s game. Muthukumaran chose Soundarya and said that her hard work was less compared to other contestants.

Anshida was eliminated
After this Vijay Sethupathi asked the nominated contestants to sit together. Then he asked them to predict who would go out. While most of the contestants took Raanv’s name, Anshida got less votes. He said that he is happy to go home and also gave some tips to his family members.
Sethupathi announces ticket to finale task
Vijay Sethupathi bid goodbye to Anshida and met the rest of the house. He announced the ‘Ticket to Finale’ task and introduced the special card and asked the contestants to give their best.
