Meanwhile, on the work front, Karan Johar is all set to reunite with actor Lakshya, who made his acting debut with Kill. Sources close to the development exclusively told Pinkvilla, “Lakshya will lead a new-age action film to be produced by Karan Johar. After the shooting of Chand Mera Dil is completed, the film will go on floors in the summer of 2025. Like Kill, this too will be a high-octane action thriller and the stakeholders are excited about it.”

The insider also said that even though the name of the director has been kept under wraps, the teams at Dharma are quietly working on this action-packed thriller. The source said, “Casting for other parts will also happen soon, but this is a story that everyone believes in strongly, because the action in the film is supported by strong emotion and drama.”

KJO’s production house, Dharma Productions is gearing up to release an untitled courtroom drama with Akshay Kumar in March. They are also supporting Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor-led romantic comedy, Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari as well as Dhadak 2, scheduled to release in 2025.
