Chocolate chip cookies are one of a kind. A bite of gooey chocolate with crunchy flavor fills your heart with joy almost instantly. If you’re already dreaming of chocolate chip cookies then this video is for you. In a video posted to Instagram, a man was seen making a “giant” chocolate chip cookie, but with a twist. Abandoning the traditional kitchen process, he used a cement mixer to prepare the sweets. Yes, you read that right. The clip begins with the man putting 24 sticks of butter into the mixer. He melts them using a blowtorch and advises viewers to use the appliance because it is “much faster than a microwave”.

In the next step, the man pours copious amounts of sugar and brown sugar into the mixer, then cracks two dozen eggs and adds them to the giant appliance. Next comes vanilla extract. After adding baking soda, salt and baking powder, it was time to add three bags of flour. Remember foodies, this is a giant chocolate chip cookie! Once the primary ingredients are put into the mixer, the man uses a shovel to scoop out 5 full scoops of chocolate chips. After mixing the ingredients well, the cook rolls the dough into a huge 4-foot aluminum pan and flattens it.
In a fun twist, he keeps a portion of the dough without any chocolate for his pet dog. The last few steps involve heating the dough in an oven with charcoal for 15 minutes. “It looked and smelled amazing,” said the man seen in the video. However, he admitted that the giant dessert tasted more like a brownie than a cookie.
