How to make Rajasthani Mogri Pickle. Rajasthani Mogri Pickle Recipe

This simple and delicious recipe comes from MasterChef Aruna Vijay’s Instagram. Follow these steps to make it yourself:

1. Wash the Mogri

Start by washing and cleaning your mogri (radish pods). Put them in a bowl and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt. Mix everything together until it is well mixed.

2. Prepare oil tempering

Heat oil in a pan on low-medium flame. Add fennel, nigella seeds and asafoetida. Pour hot tadka over mogri and mix well.

3. Add burning coal

Taste and adjust seasoning, then place burning coals on top. Add ghee and cover the bowl to enhance the flavour.

4. Serve and enjoy

Your Rajasthani Mogri pickle is ready! It pairs perfectly with cold puri or crunchy khakhra.
