OnePlus 11 has started receiving the latest OxygenOS 15 update, which is based on the Android 15 operating system. This comes a few weeks after it started rolling out on the OnePlus 12. According to the changelog provided by the company, several AI features have been added in the OxygenOS 15 update. Users will see a new AI writing suite, which offers features like continuous writing, text polishing, and style correction to help you draft and improve your content. There will also be a new formatting feature that organizes fragmented content into structured and readable content. There’s a new clean-up feature that refines voice recordings by removing filler words for better sentence clarity without altering the original audio.

OnePlus has also added a new Enhance Clarity feature, which the company claims can restore detail in blurry images, making cropped, zoomed-in or low-quality photos appear clearer and more defined. There’s also a new AI Reflection Eraser, which OnePlus says can help restore sharpness, color accuracy and illumination of blurry photos.

Since we’re still talking about camera features, OnePlus says it has added a new reversible photo editing capability. It saves previous edit settings for easy later edits. One will also find the Circle to Search feature, which allows on-screen search by pressing the home button or navigation bar and circling the desired area for information.

OnePlus has also improved the animations on its phones with the launch of OxygenOS 15. The company claims that it has reduced the app switching time and made it much smoother. There are several other changes in terms of animations that people will notice while using the phone as the device feels much sharper when using OxygenOS 15.

The new software also brings a new Flux Themes feature, which OnePlus says will allow customization of the system wallpaper and with personalized photos for a personal touch. Additionally, Clock Color Blending, Blur Wallpapers, AI Depth Effects, AI Auto-Fill and more are now supported for the lock screen. Blur wallpapers for home screen and more are supported.

One of the biggest features is OnePlus Share, which lets you share photos with nearby iOS devices. There’s also a new split mode now. This allows separate access to the notification drawer (top-left swipe) and quick settings (top-right swipe) with a left or right swipe to switch. The size of the latest update is close to 4GB, so users are advised to download it via Wi-Fi and keep some storage space free on the smartphone.
