Reports suggest that Pushpa 2 director Sukumar will attend the pre-release event of Ram Charan’s Game Changer in Dallas, Texas on December 21, 2024. Sukumar, who directed Ram Charan in the blockbuster Rangasthalam, will be reuniting with the actor for RC 17.

Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Game Changer, directed by Shankar, is creating buzz as the next big pan-Indian film after Pushpa 2. The pre-release event of the film will be held in the United States and is scheduled for December 21. Reports suggest that Sukumar, director of the latest blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule, will also attend the event. Hosted by Rajesh Kallepalli of Karishma Dreams, the event will take place at the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas.

Game Changer, directed by Shankar and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations and Zee Studios, stars Ram Charan in dual roles along with Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj and others. The story of the film is written by Karthik Subbaraj, music is by SS Thaman and dialogues are written by Sai Madhav Burra.

Although the response to the film’s songs, Jaragaandi Jaragaandi, Raa Macha Macha, Nana Hayana and the teaser have been mixed after the release, the anticipation remains as this is Ram Charan’s solo release after RRR.

As part of the makers’ aim to expand the visibility of the game changer across different regions of India teaser launch event It was held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, known as the ‘Heart of India’. Now with pre-release events planned in the US, the makers aim to take the reach of Telugu and Indian cinema international.

Meanwhile, Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has broken box office records since its release on December 5, 2024. The Allu Arjun starrer earned Rs 294 crore globally on its first day, becoming the highest opener in the history of Indian cinema. In just five days, the Pushpa sequel has grossed over Rs 900 crore worldwide and is still going strong. Soon, the Sukumar directorial is expected to cross the Rs 1,000 crore mark. Sukumar and Ram Charan’s first venture, Rangasthalam (2018), became a milestone in Indian filmmaking, receiving critical acclaim and box-office success. His upcoming project, RC 17, is much anticipated. The film marks their reunion after Rangasthalam, and fans are eager to see what magic the pair will create once again.

Ram Charan will join Sukumar after completing his film with Buchi Babu Sana, which is tentatively titled RC 16.
