After her Tollywood debut, Bhagyashree Borse has now got a lead role opposite Ram Pothineni in his upcoming film directed by P Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled RAPO22.

The announcement was made officially by Mythri Movie Makers on their social media, confirming Bhagyashree’s involvement in the project. The production house expressed its excitement over the actress joining the film, saying, “Recent sensation Bhagyashree Borse has joined RAPO22 and is adding her charm and talent to this beautiful journey.”

Bhagyashree made her Tollywood debut with Ravi Teja in Mr. Bachchan and now she has got this project. Although there was earlier speculation about other actors for the role, Bhagyashree was ultimately chosen for this high-profile project.
The puja program of the film took place on 21 November with special guests including director Hanu Raghavapudi, Gopichand Malineni, Venky Kudumula and Shiva Nirvana. Director P Mahesh Babu has a history of creating impactful roles for his heroines, as seen in his previous films Ra Ra Krishnayya and Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty. This makes fans expect a strong and important role for Bhagyashree in RAPO22.

The film will mark Ram Pothineni’s return to rural drama, a genre he has not explored in recent years. Reports suggest that Ram will undergo a rustic transformation for the role, adding another layer of excitement to the project.
Apart from this project, Bhagyashree is currently working on VD12 with Vijay Deverakonda and Kantha with Dulquer Salmaan under director Gautham Tinnanuri.
