Shahrukh Khan Death Threat Case: Accused also targeted Aryan Khan, gathered information about his activities

After Salman Khan, now Shahrukh Khan has been threatened with death in Chhattisgarh. According to reports, Bandra Police had received a call in which Rs 50 lakh was demanded from the actor. Now, during their investigation, the police revealed that the arrested suspect, lawyer Faizan Khan, had carefully collected information about Shah Rukh Khan’s security team and had also targeted his son Aryan Khan by investigating his activities and daily routine.

According to a report in Free Press Journal, the accused allegedly collected detailed information about Shah Rukh Khan’s security measures and Aryan’s activities through extensive online searches. This revelation came to light during the analysis of an additional mobile phone seized from the suspect.

A Bandra Police official revealed that the mobile phone of the accused had a detailed browsing history of searches related to the security of the young actor and the activities of his son Aryan Khan. When interrogated, the suspect failed to provide any concrete reason for collecting this information.

The police further revealed that the accused used an application to obtain the landline number of Bandra police station, which he then used to make threatening calls. The investigation also revealed that the mobile phone used for the threat was purchased on October 30, a few days before the call.

Accused Faizan Khan himself purchased the device and inserted his old SIM card in it. Interestingly, he reported the phone stolen on November 2 but never deactivated the SIM card. Police noted that, in cases of actual theft, the SIM of the stolen device is usually replaced by the thief, which did not happen here. Additionally, the accused made no effort to locate the phone by calling its number after claiming it was lost, further increasing the suspicion.

According to the same report the investigation indicates deliberate efforts by the accused to hide the phones involved in the crime. The findings indicate that the act was premeditated and carefully planned.

Meanwhile, Shahrukh faced a death threat through a call at the Bandra police station on November 7, 2024, which was eventually traced to Faizan Khan’s phone. Mumbai Police arrested him in Raipur and obtained transit remand for further questioning.

In court, Faizan Khan’s defense team claimed that his phone had been stolen before the incident, suggesting that the call was part of a plot to falsely implicate him.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is prepping for his upcoming action thriller King with his daughter Suhana Khan, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya fame Abhay Verma also play important roles in the film.
