Vicky Kaushal’s performance in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Sanju Aur Donkey was greatly liked and appreciated by the audience. Since then, Kaushal has established himself firmly in the industry. Now, after two successful collaborations, the latest reports suggest that Hirani has approached Vicky for a third project, this time exclusively for the lead role.
According to a report in TellyChakkar, Vicky Kaushal will be working with Rajkumar Hirani for the third time. What makes it special is that this will be the first time he will be playing the lead role.
The report further suggests that after initially considering other contemporaries, Hirani has approached Vicky for the lead role in his upcoming film.
Rajkumar Hirani is known for consistently delivering unique and entertaining films and Vicky’s acting in his previous films has also been stellar.
Regardless of the box office performance of the film, one thing that everyone appreciates is Vicky Kaushal’s acting ability, be it his dancing, emotional moments or comic scenes.
Meanwhile, discussing Kaushal’s upcoming projects, he will next be seen in Laxman Utekar’s Chhaava, in which he will star alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. Initially scheduled to release on December 6, 2024, according to a recent report in Mid-Day, the film’s release has now been postponed to avoid a clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
Additionally, the team is considering an earlier release date, although this has not been confirmed yet. A new release date is expected to be announced soon.
Moving forward, Kaushal also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. For those unaware, Ranbir and Vicky will play Indian Armed Forces officers in Love and War.
Recently, many pictures and videos of Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal from their trip to Jodhpur have gone viral. Apart from his popular video from Jodhpur airport, a fan page shared a photo of both the actors with an Air Force officer, while another showed Kapoor happily posing with a fan.
Pinkvilla recently reported that the shooting of Love and War will begin from November 7, 2024 in Mumbai. This film will be released in theaters on March 20, 2026.
