Trigger warning: This featured article contains information regarding the brutal murder and death of an individual.

After the Karnataka High Court granted six weeks interim bail to Darshan Thoogudeepa in the Renukaswamy murder case, he has reportedly been admitted to the hospital. HC granted bail to the Kannada actor on medical grounds on October 30. According to a report in ABP Live, Darshan Thoogudeepa was admitted to a private hospital in Kengeri, Bengaluru due to back pain.

It is being told that along with the actor accused of murder, his wife Vijayalakshmi had also reached the hospital. Furthermore, as per the report, Darshan’s doctor, Dr. Naveen Appaji Gowda, said that they will conduct X-ray, MRI and blood tests to understand the problem.

Additionally, Naveen Gowda said that he has not received Darshan’s previous MRI report and hence he will do one for him. “After the investigation we will know what the problem is and whether operation (spine surgery) is needed or physiotherapy is enough,” he said.

Meanwhile, earlier reports suggested that Darshan Thoogudeepa had visited his son’s house to celebrate his birthday after he got bail. As claimed by One India, Thugudeepa’s wife Vijayalakshmi was waiting for her husband outside their residence. It is pertinent to mention that she has been supporting Darshan during his jail term. Vijayalakshmi also visited various temples praying for the release of her husband.

Let us tell you, Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested on June 11 in connection with his alleged involvement in the brutal murder of Renukaswamy. If reports are to be believed, the actor allegedly murdered the victim after making some obscene comments against her alleged girlfriend and actress Pavitra Gowda. After spending several months inside jail, the actor was finally granted interim bail by the High Court on medical grounds.

He was granted interim bail of 6 weeks on the condition of a bond of Rs 2 lakh, two sureties and surrender of his passport. However, while delivering its order, the court said that the decision to grant bail to Darshan Thoogudeepa will not in any way affect the overall decision of the case.
