On the occasion, the Satyaprem Ki Katha actress wore a mustard yellow kurta-pajama, while her husband, Hasee Toh Phasee star Sidharth wore a blue kurta. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth is in talks with Ekta Kapoor for a feature film with Panchayat director Deepak Mishra. A source close to the development tells us exclusively, “Ekta Kapoor and TVF have partnered to bring unique yet commercial stories to the big screen. This is a part of the deal between Balaji and TVF and discussions are going on with Sidharth Malhotra.
The informant further said that the film is a high-on drama and will be an emotional film, based on a folkloric backdrop deeply rooted in Hindu mythology. “The makers have a vision to create a unique cinematic experience like Kantara with a feature film. While Sid is expected to hear the final statement in November, the makers aim to take the film on floors in the second half of 2025. He will sign on the dotted lines once the final statement is made,” said the source.
But before working with Ekta, he will complete the shooting of the romantic comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan, which will begin in November and will be followed by Race 4.
