Actress Sobhita Dhulipala joined her fiance, actor Naga Chaitanya and his family to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of Telugu cinema legend Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) on Monday, October 28. Nageswara Rao was the father of actor Nagarjuna. The family marked the occasion by presenting the ANR National Award instituted by the Akkineni International Foundation to actor Chiranjeevi.

Many photos and videos of the event were shared on social media. In a video, Sobhita was seen chatting with Chiranjeevi, while Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna stood next to them. She looked gorgeous in a minimalist green saree at the event.

Another video showed Sobhita interacting with Naga as they attended the event. Naga Chaitanya chose a formal look and sported a thick beard.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan also participated in this program ANR National Award presented to Chiranjeevi. While receiving the award, Chiranjeevi expressed his respect towards Amitabh by folding his hands and touching his feet. In a video, 82-year-old Amitabh is also shown touching the feet of Chiranjeevi’s mother Anjana Devi.

Nagarjuna is the son of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his wife Annapurna, who died in 2011. In 1976, he established Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad in her honour.

Shobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya got engaged on 8 August. Her father, actor Nagarjuna, announced the news of their union and shared pictures from the engagement ceremony.

Nagarjuna wrote, “We are happy to announce the engagement of our son Naga Chaitanya to Shobhita Dhulipala, which took place today at 9:42 am! We are very happy to welcome him to our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Best wishes.” Give them love and happiness throughout their life! 8.8.8 The beginning of eternal love.”

If reports are to be believed, the couple may get married in the first week of December. However, the official announcement regarding the date and venue of the wedding has not been made yet.
