Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was packed with excited fans to watch the magic of singer Diljit Doanjh on stage. The Punjabi singer kicked off the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi on October 26. Diljit enthralled the crowd by singing his hit songs in a black outfit. After his opening number, he stopped to celebrate his return to India by waving the national flag over his head, which drew thunderous applause from the audience.

Then he said, “This is my country, my home (This is my country, this is my home)!” The singer then thanked fans for being so sweet and kind and supporting his music for so many years. Fans got emotional watching their favorite singer perform live.

Diljit also posted a video showing a glimpse of it. The show on the first day included a lot of emotions, fireworks, lights and fans cheering for the singer.

The video starts with the Chamkeela actor saying, “Shut down shut down kara ta fer dilli waleya ne”, oh punjabi will move our country forward (Punjabis have returned to their country).”

Waving the tricolor proudly, the singer said, “No matter where you go or perform, there is always a special joy in being at home, isn’t it?”

Diljit’s world tour finally brings the magic of Dil-Luminati to IndiaStarting with their first concert in Delhi on 26 October, followed by a second show on 27 October. The tour will continue in cities including Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh and Guwahati.
