Boman Irani recently took to Instagram to share a special post for his wife Zenobia Irani, who celebrates her birthday on October 23. Along with the carousel of photos, she wrote a long, heartfelt caption full of candid thoughts and well-wishes for her spouse. He told how his wife is “Homemade food” taste buds, making it difficult for her to find the place she wants to eat out. In the post, Boman Irani also hinted at their shared love for tea. He reported that, when traveling out of the country, his wife’s pet was becoming frustrated with the specific tea offered. She often feels that beverages that are labeled tea in foreign countries are not actually worthy of being called that. On this issue he finds himself agreeing with him.

Boman Irani’s note also includes many other glimpses from his life. He has lovingly described her habits and appreciated her personality. Here’s the full caption: “It’s impossible to find a restaurant to please your “home food” taste buds. Impossible. You always repeat the instructions at least 84 times. Like, “Check passport, or let’s go 4 Leave the airport an hour early, or let’s go to the gate, 2 hours before the gate opens. When you see a dog… you snap your finger and instruct me to take a picture as if I’m on your payroll. When I am abroad, you wake me up in the middle of the night and ask if I have taken the medicine. Then wonder why I’m feeling sleepy. When you’re in town you give me my medicine yourself, and 5 minutes later you ask if you gave me my medicine. You don’t like to speak in public but love to speak (a lot) in private. When you’re abroad, your pet peeve phrase is, “How dare they call it tea?” (This, I actually agree with.) I wouldn’t mind having you on staff; It is here that one gets the best treatment.
I love raving about you like this. Because saying nice things is somehow boring. But today I am going to say only one good thing. Why not… I have yet to find anyone who has a single bad thing to say about you. It said. Just because it’s your birthday. Happy Birthday, Zane!”
