Ranveer Singh welcomed his first child with wife Deepika Padukone in September 2024. The new father is enjoying the joys of parenthood. Ranveer recently attended an event in Mumbai where he met para athlete Kanchan Lakhani. In one of the videos, the actor was seen getting an extra hug for his baby girl. It absolutely melted the hearts of fans who couldn’t stop showering their love.
A function was recently held at the Ambani family residence in Mumbai in honor of India’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes. On October 1, para athlete Kanchan Lakhani shared an adorable video on Instagram with Ranveer Singh, who was present at the event.
In the video, Kanchan was seen pinning Ranveer’s black blazer and hugging him tightly. The Singham Again actor then lovingly gave his daughter another hug and said, “One for me and one for my baby girl.” Kanchan further hugged him for Deepika Padukone and their upcoming baby, to which she said, “What a thing.”

Another video of Ranveer interacting with the paparazzi at the event had earlier gone viral on the internet. He was heard saying in full excitement, “Baap ban gaya re (I have become a father)”.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is all set to resume shooting for his upcoming untitled film with Aditya Dhar. In an exclusive update, Pinkvilla revealed that the actor will be back on the sets in November.
A source close to the development said, “We have done a very productive shoot in Bangkok, Thailand. Now, Ranveer is all set to get back to shooting in November for the next schedule. We can’t give away details about the different locations at this time, but excitement is very high for the next chapter after the high quality product we’ve seen on screen with the first schedule.
