5-year-old boy in America suffers cardiac arrest while visiting Disney World

An American family’s trip to Walt Disney World turned into a nightmare when their 5-year-old son fell while riding one of the theme park’s thrilling attractions. according to New York PostThe incident occurred on 21 September. 5-year-old Ernesto Tagle stopped breathing and started falling about 20 seconds into riding a closed rollercoaster at Epcot. His mother, Christine, who was sitting right behind him, realized something was wrong when she couldn’t feel a pulse. “I was screaming, hitting him, saying something was wrong,” she recalled.

In an Instagram post, the family shared that the mother performed CPR on her son after the rollercoaster ended, but was quickly assisted by a couple passing by, a nurse and EMT, and a Disney employee, who restarted the boy’s heart. Doctors implanted a device in a 5-year-old boy’s chest that treats life-threatening heart arrhythmias and sudden cardiac arrest. The Instagram post said the little boy is recovering without any signs of brain and heart damage.

The relieved family also said that their “warrior” son is home and eager to ride his motorcycle. The family said they were grateful to those who swung into action to save their son.
