Samsung US deals: Galaxy Tab S9 series gets price cut, Snapdragon powered laptops get $450 off

Must read

Samsung still hasn’t set an official launch date for the Galaxy Tab S10 tablet, nor has it confirmed if it will launch an 11” model. And we haven’t heard anything about the new FE model either.

We’re mentioning this because Samsung US launched its Discover Samsung Fall Sale this week, offering deals on last year’s Galaxy Tab S9 slates, including the FE models.

The main trio has discounts and trade-in offers. The discounts for the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra are $150, $170 and $250 respectively. You can further reduce the price by sending in an old tablet – for example, an old Galaxy Tab S2 goes for $100.

Additionally, you can get $20 off on Samsung Care+ with theft and damage protection. The monthly subscription (cancel anytime) is $8 per month (previously $10), while the 2-year subscription is $151.20 (previously $189).

If you prefer LCD or just want a cheaper tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ also have similar offers with $100 and $130 off straightaway and a trade-in credit of up to $400 or $480. The Samsung Care+ offer with theft and damage protection is valid for these slates as well.

You can even run Windows on ARM these days — Samsung’s new Galaxy Book4 Edge uses the powerful Snapdragon Xe Elite, whose larger NPU enables all the Copilot+ AI features. It’s available in 14” (2.56 pounds) and 16” (3.42 pounds) sizes (and there’s a new 15” model, too, but that’s expected in October). This lightweight laptop promises great battery life, with up to 22 hours of video playback on a single charge.
