Who doesn’t love cake? Imagine eating a soft, spongy sweet cake that explodes with flavors in your mouth. Just the idea can make you want to eat it. Right? It’s true: cakes are very high in calories and should be eaten in moderation. But when you have cake at home, sometimes just one slice is not enough. Those with a sweet tooth can easily eat it all alone. Proving this, a digital creator recently posted a video on Instagram in which she was eating an entire cake all by herself. Despite trying her best, she just couldn’t stop herself from eating one slice.

The video begins with the woman cutting into a chocolate cake that is topped with white cream and sprinkled with crunchy topping. She tells herself, “I’m gonna eat a tiny slither,” as a way of control. She takes out a small piece and serves a slice to someone who is not present in the clip. Overwhelmed with the taste, the woman says, “Oh my god” immediately after the first bite. And we can guess what happens next. She keeps cutting off tiny pieces over and over again, each time trying to convince herself that she just wants a slither.

To stop herself from eating more, the woman puts the cake back in the refrigerator. However, this plan does not work. Every time she opens the fridge to get something else, her eyes inevitably land on the half-eaten cake. She takes out a piece for herself and puts it in her mouth, and the cycle continues. When only a small portion of the cake is left, the woman throws it in the trash. The disappointment and guilt on her face due to having eaten almost the entire dessert cannot be ignored. “POV: There is cake in the house” the video reads.
