An EasyJet flight bound for Kos International Airport in Greece had to make an emergency landing at Munich International Airport after an allegedly drunk passenger created chaos mid-air and terrorised others on board. New York Post, The incident happened on Tuesday. The trouble started about two hours after flight U28235 took off from London Gatwick Airport. When the Airbus A320 experienced some turbulence during the scheduled four-hour flight, the passenger, who was apparently inebriated, stood up and scolded the captain for disrupting the flight.
The dramatic incident was captured in a video shared by @FlightModeblog on X. In the clip, passengers were seen cheering, with some even shouting, “Get off, you loser”, as German police escorted the unruly passenger off the plane. Another passenger also received applause for reportedly holding down the man until the captain landed the plane safely.

according to PostEasyJet said the emergency landing was caused by “unruly behaviour by a passenger on board the aircraft”.
The outlet reported that the passenger, whose identity has not been revealed, got involved in an argument with other passengers. He also broke the onboard intercom and also quarreled with the flight crew, which led to a scuffle and the passenger was taken into custody.
“Safety is Jet’s top priority and our cabin crew are trained to assess all situations and act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time,” the airline said. Post“While such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on board the ship,” he added.
The remaining passengers, on the other hand, deboarded the plane and got overnight hotel and food arrangements before flying to Greece on Wednesday. The airline said, “Although this was beyond our control, we regret the inconvenience caused.”

Meanwhile, in another incident, an American man was arrested in August for his alleged disruptive and life-threatening behaviour on an American Airlines flight. Eric Nicholas Gapko, 26, travelling on Flight 2101 from Seattle to Dallas on July 18, behaved in what authorities described as “unruly” behaviour.
Apart from propositioning a female crew member for sex, Gapko allegedly tried to open the plane’s door multiple times in the middle of the flight, leading to an emergency landing. According to the outlet, he took off his shirt in the middle of the flight and started puffing from a vape pen while abusing and hitting a crew member, propositioning her for sex. The passenger also allegedly assaulted a flight attendant.
