Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 269 will likely focus on Yuta Okkotsu’s condition after being transferred into Satoru Gojo’s body. The chapter might reveal that Rika, Yuta’s cursed spirit, was the one who was yelling at him at the end of the previous chapter.
What is uncertain is Yuta’s exact status. Although it is known that he is alive, the nature of his condition remains unclear, particularly why Yuji mentions needing to ‘save’ him. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268, titled Settlement Matters, begins with Sukuna confronting the spirit of Megumi Fushiguro. Sukuna taunts Megumi, asking how he can go on living after having his body taken away, killing his sister by his own hand, and rejecting those who tried to help him.
Sukuna also blames Megumi for saving Yuji, which later caused the Shibuya Massacre. He urges Megumi to give up and let him take control. However, Megumi challenges Sukuna, noting that Sukuna only has one finger left.
If the other 19 are destroyed, the last finger cannot maintain Sukuna’s connection to the physical world, especially given the effects of resonance. Megumi revealed that Sukuna also fears death in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268.
He says that despite not wanting to live a proper life, Megumi now wants to live for others. In the real world, Yuji’s domain expansion begins to collapse, and Sukuna is forcefully separated from Megumi, and she is reduced to a piece of meat. Yuji approaches him and asks what Sukuna will choose next.
