‘Freedom at Midnight’ promo: Gandhi pits Nehru against Sardar Patel
SonyLIV releases the first promo of ‘Freedom at Midnight’ which showcases major historical moments of India’s Independence.
The first promo of Sony Liv’s upcoming series ‘Freedom at Midnight’ is here. This short video shared by the channel tells what exactly happened at midnight before India got independence.
The video shows how Gandhiji handed over a letter to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to withdraw his nomination, even though he was elected Congress President by the majority of party members and later became the first Prime Minister of India. But it was he who chose Jawaharlal Nehru.
