‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actor Gurcharan Singh, who has been missing for 25 days, recently revealed that he used to spend his nights sleeping on railway platforms and bus stops. When asked if he carried clothes with him, the actor revealed that he once wore trousers for 17 days and wore wet clothes at times as he had no choice.

while talking PinkvillaGurucharan said, “To get enough sleep during the journey, I used to travel in the general compartment with a general ticket. Due to lack of any place to spend the night, I would sometimes sleep on the railway platform or bus stop. However, I was not able to get a good night’s sleep due to many reasons. Even the ticket collectors would never recognize me.”

When asked about his outfit during that time, the ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actor revealed that he would wash his T-shirts every other day and wear them again. Many times, he had to wear wet T-shirts due to lack of options. He also revealed that he wore the same pair of trousers for 17 days.

Earlier, Gurcharan had admitted that he had no plans to return home but God had given him a sign so he came back.

Singh was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Mumbai on April 22, but he could not board the flight and went missing. The actor returned home on May 18. After his return, the police confirmed that Gurcharan Singh had gone on a spiritual retreat to sort out some of his personal issues.
