Trisha to Jana Nayagan Producer: Celebrities at Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony
Many film personalities attended the swearing-in ceremony of actor-turned-politician Vijay as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. These include his Leo co-star Trisha, producer of his upcoming film Jan Nayagan and a long-time collaborator on his journey in cinema.
Actor-turned-politician Vijay was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday at a ceremony attended by political leaders, party workers and several film personalities who have worked with him over the years. The event had both political significance and a strong film industry presence. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by many of Vijay’s co-stars, family members, producers and long-time associates.
There was both political and cinematic activity in the atmosphere around the venue. Supporters gathered outside the stadium and started chanting loudly, while the guest list inside reflected Vijay’s long journey in Tamil cinema before assuming his new role as Chief Minister.

Trisha
Actress Trisha was also among those present at the event. She accessorized with a blue silk saree with gold accents, a beige embroidered blouse and statement jewellery. She wore a diamond and ruby choker with matching earrings, along with minimal makeup, a small bindi and jasmine flowers in her hair.
Trisha has shared screen space with Vijay in five films: ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), Kuruvi (2008) and leo (2023).
SA Chandrashekhar and Shoba
Vijay’s parents, film producers SA Chandrashekhar and Shoba Chandrashekhar also attended the swearing-in ceremony. When Vijay assumed his new role, he was joined by family members.
SA Chandrasekhar has directed over 70 films in South Indian languages and is known for films focusing on social issues. Shoba is a playback singer, screenwriter, film producer and film director. He wrote several stories which were later made into films by SA Chandrashekhar, many of which starred Vijayakanth and Vijay.
KL Narayan
Producer KL Narayan was also present at the ceremony. He is the producer of Vijay’s film Jan NayganWhich has not come to the theaters yet.
Discretion
Lyricist Vivek also participated in this program. He has written many introduction songs for Vijay in the last decade.
Victory
Actor Jai, who shared screen space with Vijay Puthiya GithaiHe was one of the film personalities seen at the stadium.
Sangeeta
Actress Sangeeta was also present at the function. She attended with her husband, singer Krish, and their daughter. Sangeeta acted with Vijay heir (2023).
Archana Kalpathi
Producer Archana Kalpathy also attended the swearing-in ceremony. She is associated with AGS Productions and produces goat (2024).
From co-stars and colleagues to family members and producers, the gathering underlined his long association with the Tamil film industry.
