“I’ve tried every popular way to lose weight, but I haven’t tried the real way, which is lifestyle changes,” she confessed, adding, “I think people should be active.” Khloe added that she wants to encourage healthy living rather than the number on the scale. “I don’t really care what size you are. You just need to be healthy and strong for yourself.”
Previously, in the On Purpose podcast, Khloe said that for a large part of her life, she was “overweight and unhealthy.” She shared that she started going to the gym during her divorce and “liked a significant and regular amount of exercise for my mental health.” She added, “I needed a release, and I needed to feel strong, and I just needed to get rid of all these thoughts.” Khloe also talked about her weight loss journey in her 2015 book Strong Looks Better Naked and her reality television show Revenge Body.
Weight loss drugs have been mentioned on the Kardashian show before
According to the ABC, “Ozempic and Monjaro are a popular ‘off-label’ option for doctors treating patients wanting to lose weight, but these drugs have only been approved by the TGA for the treatment of type 2 diabetes.”
Over the years, celebrities such as Charles Barkley, Whoopi Goldberg and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson have reportedly taken Ozempic or Monjaro to lose weight. US TV personality and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-partner Scott Disick is also believed to be among them.
In the premiere episode of the latest season of the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner visit Disick at his home, and immediately notice his incredible weight loss. Although Khloe refrained from saying anything about the weight loss pills in the refrigerator, viewers immediately noticed the carton of Monjaro stocked in the butter cabinet. Some even believed it to be a brand deal or promotion.
However, according to a report obtained by Daily Mail, Disick has allegedly been using the controversial weight loss drug Ozempic to lose his excess weight. “Scott started taking Ozempic because he was having a serious problem with his weight gain. Around this time last year he found himself gaining weight,” the source said. “He had gained a lot of weight and he couldn’t stand looking at himself in the video footage that has been aired in the last few months. He went to great lengths to hide it.”
