In another gaffe amid concerns over his re-election prospects, US President Joe Biden today mistakenly introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as his Russian rival Vladimir Putin.
Speaking on the sidelines of a NATO summit in Washington, he said, referring to Zelensky: “And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.”
Zelensky looked confused, then shook his head and smiled to himself.
Biden, 81, quickly corrected himself and said, “President Putin, you’re going to beat President Putin, President Zelensky. I’m focused on beating Putin.”
Zelensky, who had by then recovered from his confusion, replied, “I am better (than Putin).”
Is Biden the blunder king?

“You’re much better,” Biden responded before Zelensky began his address.
Shortly after, Biden made another major gaffe when he referred to his deputy, Kamala Harris, as “Vice President” Trump at an important news conference.

Responding to a question by a reporter about his confidence in Indian-origin leader Kamala Harris, he said, “Look, if Vice President Trump was not qualified to be President, I would not have chosen him as Vice President. So, start from there.”
Oh my god.
Now Biden has called Vice President Kamala Harris as Vice President Trump.

This latest gaffe comes at a time when calls are growing for Biden, who is the oldest US president ever, to step down.
The cries have grown louder since his poor performance against 78-year-old Donald Trump in the US presidential debate two weeks ago.
Even members of his Democratic Party are concerned about his ability to win the November 5 elections.
