KHxRK Reunion is an upcoming film starring superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan in the lead roles. It is expected that the shooting of the film will start this year and will be released on the big screen during Ayudha Puja or Diwali.
KHxRK Reunion: Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan starrer to start shooting in October 2026?
According to online discussions, the shooting of KHxRK Reunion will begin in October this year. Reportedly, the film is expected to release in theaters during Ayudha Puja or Diwali next year.
Since the project is one of the most ambitious films to be launched this year, many actors are reportedly keen to be a part of the venture and have even expressed their interest to director Nelson Dilipkumar for a small role. However, the final cast and crew will be finalized by the filmmaker in due course.
Reports also suggest that Rajinikanth will film for Jailer 2 in March and is expected to shoot with Shah Rukh Khan. It is said that the Bollywood superstar’s cameo appearance will see him playing the role of a police officer. However, these are still unconfirmed reports.
After completing the shooting of Jailer 2, the superstar is expected to join the sets of Thalaivar 173 in April this year.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s work front
Rajinikanth will next be seen in the lead role in the sequel Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. It is being told that the film stars SJ Surya, Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty in lead roles.
Apart from Shahrukh Khan, the film will also see Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar reprising their previous roles. Additionally, the superstar also has Thalaivar 173 in his lineup.
The upcoming film directed by Siby Chakraborty is expected to be an action film, with Priyanka Arul Mohan and Basil Joseph rumored to play the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan will play the lead role in the tentatively titled KH237. Directed by Anabariv and written by Syam Pushkaran, the film is expected to go on floors after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Apart from this, he will also be shooting for Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2 this year.
