O’ Romeo box office collection: Shahid Kapoor and Trupti Dimri starrer earns around Rs 5 crore in third week, earns Rs 58 crore in 21 days

Starring Shahid Kapoor and Trupti Dimri in the lead roles along with Nana Patekar, Farida Dalal, Avinash Tiwari, Tamannaah Bhatia and others, O’Romeo grossed around Rs. Rs 5 crore in its third week. 50 lakhs are coming on Thursday. The romantic action drama recorded a decline of 58 percent compared to the previous week.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, this film reached Rs 200 crore. 58.40 crore figure by the end of the third week. There is no competition for Shahid Kapoor’s film till the release of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. However, O’Romo doesn’t have much fuel left. It is expected to complete its entire theatrical run at around Rs. Will stop around. 60 crore figure, it depends on how it performs in the fourth and fifth weeks.

The film has not performed well at the box office, the film has been successful in earning so much on the basis of buy one-get one offer. BOGO may help the perception of higher NETT numbers, but it comes at the expense of share price or additional expense under P&A, however one would like to see it. That said, even if the film had performed somewhat better, like Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, it still would not have been enough to cover the budget. The cost was a bit high considering the face value of the film.
