Mardaani 3 earned Rs. Earned around Rs 5.75 crore at the Indian box office on Saturday. The film grew by almost 50 percent from its opening day. The development is decent at best, though a film like this needs better development as it stands a chance to perform better. In comparison, Mardaani 2 jumped nearly 75 percent on Saturday. That film also showed a solid 20 percent growth on Sunday, which might be tough here, but if this film manages it, it will be in good shape.
The two-day total earning of Rani Mukherjee’s film is Rs. Approx Rs 9.60 crore nett. First weekend around Rs. Should be. 16 crore nett. The film needs to survive on Monday and should earn around Rs. Earning of Rs 24 crore in the first week.
Although Mardaani 2 was trending better and Mardaani 3 will probably end up with a lower finish in the first week, it has the advantage of less competition in the second and third weeks, as Mardaani 2 had to face Dabangg 3 and Good Newwz in its second and third weeks, whereas the competition here will be much smaller. This gives it a chance to reach or even exceed that film’s full performance, which would be a good outcome here.
One thing that has been going wrong with films recently is that the costs have increased a lot. The film Keema Mardaani 3, released a few years ago, has performed well in this regard as the film has been made in a controlled budget. Although it costs twice as much as Mardaani 2, it is still quite manageable if the film gets the right response, as the non-theatrical collections are also quite good. The fact that the film got a respectable opening on Friday made things even better.
The box office collection of Mardaani 3 in India is as follows:
| Day | net |
|---|---|
| Friday | Rupee. 3.85 crores. |
| Saturday | Rupee. 5.75 crores. |
| Total | Rupee. 9.60 crores. |
