Kara, starring Dhanush in the lead, recently unveiled its first look with a summer 2026 release confirmed. Now it is being said that this film will be released on the big screen on April 30, 2026.

According to a report by Let’s Cinema, Kaara will be released in theaters on April 30 next year. However, the makers have not yet given official confirmation.
Recently the team unveiled the title of the film. In the 1 minute and 22 second glimpse, Dhanush’s character is portrayed as a man who clashes with the wrong people because of his profession. As he finds himself being hunted, he realizes that the only way out is to become human and face the consequences of his past actions.
Torn between sin and virtue, he must save his family against all odds, engaging in a one-man battle before he loses everything. Blending intense action with intense and thrilling moments, the glimpse finally reveals her character as Karasami, also known as Kara.
Written and directed by Por Thozhil fame Vignesh Raja, the film stars Mameetha Baiju in the lead role. Additionally, the film stars KS Ravikumar, Karunas, Jayaram, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, MS Baskar, Sreeja Ravi and many others in lead roles.

The film, bankrolled by Wales Film International, is set to hit theaters this summer. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the songs and background score, Theni Easwar is handling the cinematography, and Srijit Sarang is serving as the editor.
For the past few days, Dhanush has been in the headlines after reports said that he will marry actress Mrunal Thakur on February 14, 2026. The actors have reportedly been dating for some time now.
However, no official announcement has been made, and if the reports prove to be true, then this will be the Maari actor’s second marriage after his previous relationship with Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
Looking ahead, Dhanush will next be seen in the tentatively titled D55, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by the actor himself. According to reports, the makers are trying to cast Mammootty in an important role.
