March is shaping up to be an important window for big-ticket releases, especially for pan-India projects. While March 2026 is already packed with headlines like Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups And Dhurandhar 2The spotlight has now turned to March 2027 after director Sandeep Reddy Vanga officially finalized the release date. Soul.

Vanga quietly announced the release plans by sharing a release-date poster on X with the caption, “Spirit release date :-)” (sic). The poster confirms that the film will hit theaters on March 5, 2027, putting an end to earlier reports that suggested a December 2026 release.

Soul Prabhas and Trupti Dimri star in the lead roles, with Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi and Kanchana in prominent supporting roles. Korean star Ma Dong-seok is also reported to be part of the cast, although official confirmation is still awaited.

Production began earlier this year with a formal launch ceremony attended by many industry personalities, including Chiranjeevi, who gave the first clap. On Prabhas’ birthday, Vanga further teased the tone of the film with a ‘Sound Story’ promo featuring the voices of Prabhas and Prakash Raj.

Presented by T-Series in association with Bhadrakali Pictures, Spirit is written, edited and directed by Vanga and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Prannoy Reddy Vanga, Krishna Kumar and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga.

Meanwhile, Prabhas was recently seen in his Sankranthi release Raja Saab. The film stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agarwal and Riddhi Kumar, along with Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab in important roles.
