Ranveer Singh’s latest film Dhurandhar is maintaining a good hold at the box office even in its sixth week. The espionage action drama directed by Aditya Dhar has collected Rs. Earned Rs 3 crore on the sixth Wednesday, making a sixth week record of Rs. 22.50 crores. There was a jump in the release of the film due to the festival of Makar Sankranti on Wednesday. In its sixth week itself, the film has created an all-time record, leaving Stree 2 behind. It is expected that this week the film will make around Rs. 24-25 crores nett, setting a new benchmark.
Running cost of Dhurandhar is approximately Rs. Has reached. Net business of Rs 770 crore in 41 days of theatrical run. This weekend it will face some new releases – Happy Patel, One Two Cha Cha, Rahu Ketu, and others. Since none of these are much talked about among the audience, Dhurandhar will continue to enthrall the audience at this pace for the next one week.
However, next week it will have to face Sunny Deol’s Border 2, which is expected to occupy most of the screens, almost keeping the stalwarts out of the theatres. If the Ranveer Singh starrer continues to hold strong after the release of Border 2, the film will have a chance of a few more weeks, increasing its lifetime target to Rs. Net figure of 800 crores.
