When and where to watch Echo
Eko is scheduled to begin streaming on December 31, 2025. This film will be available on OTT platform Netflix. The official update was shared by the platform through its social media handles.
Sharing the update, the platform wrote, “Chilla Satyangal Ethra Shramichalam Kandethanakilla. (Some truths cannot be found, no matter how hard one tries.) Watch Eko on Netflix, December 31 in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.”

Eko’s official trailer and plot
Eko is the story of an elderly woman, Mlathi Chedathi, who lives in a secluded hilly area of Kattukunnu near the Kerala-Karnataka border. With her children away, her only human company is her caregiver, Pios.
Mlaathi is one of the many wives of notorious dog breeder Kuriachan, who is being hunted by both the state and the terrorist group. While he remains underground, his wife and caretaker begin to uncover hidden truths about him, leading to a story filled with mystery and tension.
Even in his absence, each character develops into a far more suspicious person, and each of them becomes suspicious of the other’s true intentions.

Eko stars Sandeep Pradeep in the lead role, while actors Biyana Momin, Sim Zee Fei, Vineet, Saurabh Sachdeva, Narayan, Ashokan, Binu Pappu and many others are in lead roles.
Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, the film is written by cinematographer Bahlul Ramesh, who also handled the visuals. Produced by MRK Jhyaram under the banner of Aaradhya Studios, the film features music composed by Kalamkaval-fame Mujeeb Majeed. This mystery thriller has been edited by Suraj ES.
Eko was a massive box office success and received positive reviews upon its theatrical release. Furthermore, it serves as the third and final installment of Bahul Ramesh’s Animal Trilogy after Kishkindha Kaandam and Kerala Crime Files 2.
Looking ahead, Sandeep Pradeep is set to star in Cosmic Samson, an action-adventure film directed by Abhijeet Joseph.
