In March, Nothing announced its latest Community Edition project, this time for the Nothing Phone (3A). And today this phone has become official.

Only 1,000 units will be made, and if you want one you’ll have to register from now until December 11th. Then on December 12, there will be “a limited sales window” on Nothing’s website.
It received no more than 700 submissions from its community members with various elements of design, software, accessories, and “visual storytelling”. The winners were Emre Kayganakl for Hardware Design, Ambrogio Tacconi and Louis Aymond for Accessories, Zad Zock for Lock Screen Clock and Wallpaper Design and Sushruta Sarkar for Marketing Campaign.
He spent the last few months working side-by-side with Nothing’s design, software, marketing and creative teams in London to turn his vision into reality.
The hardware design is inspired by the aesthetics of the late 90s and early 2000s. The accessory is a box of dice containing numbers rendered in the Nothings N Dot 55 font. It has a custom watch face with a design that “reduces visual clutter and intuitively guides the eye to key components”, says nothing. There’s also a special wallpaper designed to be “a visual bridge between the color and texture of the back interface to the front”.
Specifications are the same as the normal Nothing phone (3A). So you get a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM dimming and 3,000-nit peak brightness, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, a triple rear camera system (50MP main with OIS, 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom, 8MP ultrawide), a 32MP selfie snapper and a 5,000mAh battery. Battery is available. 50W wired charging. The Community Edition comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is priced at £379 / €379 / ₹28,999 / ¥59,800.
