Shyamali Dey recently shared a long note on her Instagram Stories, in which she thanked fans for the support she has received after her ex-husband Raj Nidimoru married Samantha Ruth Prabhu on December 1, 2025. He began his message by thanking people for their “good wishes, warm words and all the blessings.”
On December 1, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru, one half of the popular director duo Raj & DK, tied the knot in a quiet and intimate ceremony at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. The marriage followed the unique yoga tradition of Bhoota Shuddhi marriage, a ritual aimed at purifying the five elements within the couple and creating a deep spiritual bond beyond thought, emotion or physicality.
The ceremony, which was attended by close family and friends, was designed to bring harmony, prosperity and spiritual alignment into the couple’s life. In the pictures shared by Samantha, the couple can be seen exchanging rings and performing the ritual, which ends with bright smiles. Samantha captioned the pictures with the wedding date: “1.12.2025.”

Shyamali Dey opened up about her current struggles while personally responding to her fans. He wrote, “Thank you for all your kindness – the good wishes, warm words and all the blessings. I spent a sleepless night tossing and turning, arguing, and I realized it would be ungrateful and foolish not to acknowledge everything good that’s happening to me.” She said she has been practicing meditation on the Twin Hearts, which involves giving blessings of peace, love, forgiveness, hope, light, happiness and goodwill to all beings.
She also shared that her astrology guru was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on November 9, which has metastasized to several parts of the body, including the brain. “I’m sure you all will understand where my focus should be right now. So, a humble request: Please keep this space clean. Thank you… thank you… thank you… may every person, every creature be blessed with good health, happiness, prosperity and spirituality,” Shyamali concluded.
Raj Nidimoru and Shyamali Dey separated in 2022, while Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya divorced in 2021 after four years of marriage. After the wedding announcement, Shyamali shared a post depicting the cosmic connection between humans and the universe.
